It all started with five people, scattered across Los Angeles, Finland, China, and Australia, brought together by the unexpected—our shared struggle to create homes that felt truly ours. Each of us had faced times when finding quality furniture was nearly impossible, leaving us to rely on second-hand pieces that had seen better days. Many were mismatched, worn, or just didn’t fit the spaces we wanted to create. We wanted a home that felt comfortable, stylish, and inviting—yet somehow, that seemed out of reach.

Then, we met online by chance, and our conversations quickly turned to this shared longing for a cozy, beautiful living space. As we spoke, we realized we weren’t alone. There was a need for furniture that was both thoughtfully designed and genuinely affordable. So, we decided to create it ourselves—and Mokuzify WAS BORN!!
From the beginning, it was tough as we knew we wanted something different. Our products would be original, designed from scratch with care and intention. Every detail matter to us, from the selection of fine wood to the final craftsmanship. Today, what began as five passionate founders has grown into a dedicated team of over 57 skilled artisans and professionals.
